I Coaches imported for soccer camp By SAM LOWRY News Reporter There has been an American Youth Soccer Organization program in Goldendale off and on for some time, but over the last three years it has grown under the guidance of Mark Harris and Rebecca Eames. "This year we have 15 teams and 145 kids. That's up 15 from last year and 45 from the year before that," said Harris. "And we have 25 coaches." They could use 26, though. "We need one more coach for the 6- and 7-year-olds," Harris said. AYSO has teams for youth from age 4 to age 15. "We could have older teams, but there's no one for them to play." This year, for the first time, Harris and Eames, a married couple, decided to bring in a couple of heavy hitters to get their kids jazzed for the upcoming season, which begins on Sept. 11.
