According to co-organizer Jodi Bellamy, eight is a nice number for scheduling the matchups during the season and the championship tourna- ment in May. Last year there were five teams, although there was one eight-team season in recent memory, said Bellamy. For at least eight years, the spring league has attracted groups of adults interested in great exercise and a good time. "It's a lot of fun," said Tom Svendsen, who has coordintat- ed the Klickitat Pun team in years past and will play on it five," he added - enough to make it interesting. Each team plays at least five matches, on Monday evenings beginning March 22. Teams must include at least three women. To make the matches even more family-friendly, babysit- ting is available on-site. Members of the Goldendale High School varsity girls' team (who, incidentally, play in the league) set up and take down the nets. The cost to participate is $mo per team. Money raised goes to benefit the Simcoe Volleyball Club, through which the high school team attends training camps during the off- season. interested in more information should contact Jodi Bellamy at 773-5761 or 773-47o5. • Haven't filed for ... years? • Lest records? • Liens - Levies - Garnishments? • Negotiate settlements. • Prepare offer in Compromise.
