There's nothing like hitting the open road and feeling the breeze ruffle your hair as the pastoral
landscape unfolds before you. It's the kind of feeling that will bring cruising enthusiasts to
Goldendale, Saturday, June 5 to tour the countryside and enjoy the camaraderie of other car hurts.
Participants in the 9th annual Quest for Summer Cruise June 5, will take a leisurely drive along a
predetermined scenic route following printed direction sheets, through Klickitat County.
After returning to Goldendale, drivers will draw points for each check point stopped at. Added
f points will also be given for items found as part of a scavenger hunt. While on the cruise drivers
and all passengers (everyone in the car can win - even the kids) with the most points will win tro-
phies in a variety of categories. Twenty-six trophy classes in all and best of all it's free to enter!
CARQUESI Auto Parts in Goldendale is the sponsor of the event and the place where registration
and the trophy ceremony take place. You don't have to have a classic car or hot rod to participate.

businesses have responded by donating a pile of prizes for participants.
