OBITUARIES
Xrmlet Kuhnhaus~ 73, of Glen-
wood, died Nov. 21, 2004, at her
home.
She was born March 21, 1931,
in Brownsville, Ore., to Earl T. and
Rosie Ruth (Schulze) Fales. Her
family moved often during her
childhood. On Feb. 26, 1949, she
married Herman Kuhnhausen in
Florence, Ore. The couple made
their home in Glenwood, then
moved to Northwestern Lake,
where they lived for lo years. In
John Andrew Kul]berg, 59, of
Ly]e, died Nov. 19,2oo4.
He was born Aug. 29, 1945, in
Portland. ~ graduated from
Mflwaukie High School, and the
University of Washington, where
he earned a bachelor of science

wood. Her husband died in 1987.
Kuhnhausenloved to do jigsaw
~. A nature lover, she enjoyed
taking walks and observing ani-
mals and flowers and all the beau-
ty around her. She was a member
of the Glenwood Grange 94, in
which she held offices for many
years. Kuhnhausen was also a
member of the Glenwood Pio-
neers.
Survivors include her sons,
Herman of Vancouver, Roger and
Earl of Glenwood, and Donald of
The Dalles; brothers, Robert Fales
of Alaska, Elton Fales of LaPine,
Ore., and Philip Fales of Alaska;
seven grandchildren and six greta-
grandchildren.
A memorial graveside service
will be held at Me. Adams Cemetery
in Glenwood on Saturday, Dec. 4,
at 1 p.m. Ga~]ner Funeral Home's
Columbia River Crematory han-
dled cremation arrangements.

Kullberglived in Lyle for fouryears
and was the owner of the Lyle M er-
cantile. He was also the principal
owner of KEC International Engi-
neers and Consultants.
Survivors include his wife,
Young Sil Shin; two.~isters, Jeanne
Faw; one niece, Kirsten Finke
Hausen and three nephews, John
gmke, Justin and Robert Faw.
